Is your costume ready for Halloween? Want some ideas on how to make or design your outfit? Bring your half-finished costumes, tools, materials, and ideas to our Halloween Costume Clinic and work with fellow costume enthusiasts to create your Halloween masterpiece. A perfect clinic for those who have the ideas & materials but need some help making it a reality.

What to Bring:

• Costume idea (whether it’s half-completed, in pieces, or just a sketch)

• Fabrics or old clothes, linens, etc that you can use to make the costume

• Any special trims or elements that you want for your costume

• Item(s) of clothing who’s fit you’d like to replicate for your outfit

What We Provide:

• Guidance in planning and executing your costume idea

• Sewing knowledge to help you realize your project

• Sewing machines, serger, all sewing notions & tools

• Some standard clothes blocks (basic shirt, pants)
  

Prerequisites:

We recommend students to either have taken Textiles 1, or be familiar with using the basic function of a home sewing machine (threading the machine and straight stitching).
