This course will introduce you to the CNC router, including how to create 2D and 2.5D designs on Vectric Aspire, process them into gcode, import them onto the router, and cut them out of wood, aluminum, plastic, and more. This course is mandatory to use the CNC router.

None - everyone is welcome!

Things to bring if you have them:

• Laptop with VCarvePro Makerspace Edition (Windows only). This is a nice to have, but not required. Licence information will be sent to registered individuals.

• Safety glasses

• Hearing protection

• Closed toe shoes

• Dust mask

Other considerations:

• Remove jewelry

• Tie back long hair

• No loose clothing
