This hands-on class will teach you everything you need to know to keep your gear performing at its peak, from sharpening edges to waxing and polishing bases.

What You’ll Learn:

• Edge Care: How to file, tune, and maintain sharp ski edges for optimal performance.

• Base Maintenance: Techniques for repairing minor damage and ensuring smooth, fast bases.

• Waxing Skills: Apply and polish wax for the perfect glide.

• Tool Familiarity: Learn to use tuning irons, scrapers, brushes, and other essential tools.

What to Bring:

A ski tuning kit is mandatory for this class. Participants must bring their own kit or purchase one from us during registration (see below). Your kit should include:

• Tools for repairs and waxing (standard ski tuning kit)

• A tuning iron

• A nylon/cork brush
