ABOUT THE Event:
Come join us for QUEER TOOL TIME! Open to youth ages 14-21.
The goal of this program is to open space for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth to connect with one another locally, all while building skills for making!
Each week we will get the opportunity to learn about and try different tools - like the laser cutter, wood carving tools, and more.
We want to empower youth through skill sharing and friendship building! Each session will be facilitated by local 2SLGBTQIA+ craftspeople and their allies.
Advance signup is not required, please simply fill out a waiver and show up wearing closed toe shoes.
This program is generously subsidized through Squamish Arts Council grant funding to keep costs low! If the $20 cost is still a barrier, please reach out to us. We do not want anyone to miss out on the program due to financial barriers.
Waiver:
All participants must sign the waiver below. If the participant is under 18, please have a parent or guardian fill out the “Under 18” waiver instead.
