Ready to take your throwing to the next level? Join Kay Austen for a focused, two-session class exploring the architecture of the lidded vessel. Designed for intermediate potters comfortable throwing a 6” cylinder, this course emphasizes precision, fit, and thoughtful form.

The first 1.5-hour session is an in-depth demonstration, where Kay will break down a range of lidded forms and techniques. You’ll then have a week to practice independently at your own wheel (studio access not included).

In the second 1-hour session, the group reconvenes for a review and discussion, bringing in work to troubleshoot, refine, and deepen understanding.

This is a watch-and-apply format, ideal for potters looking to strengthen their technical approach.

Prerequisites: Must be able to throw a 6" cylinder on the wheel.
