Hand Built Clay Workshop

Make your own chia pet with Liz Sax Ceramics

Duration: 2.5 hours, from 10 am to 12:30 pm

This workshop will cover hand-building techniques including:

• Transforming a 2D sketch into a 3D sculpture

• Shaping, carving, and adding texture

• Scouring and using slip to attach pieces together

Ages 10+ with adult supervision.

Finished chia pets will be fired at Liz’ studio in Squamish Valley and available for pick-up at Create Makerspace approximately one week later.
