Class Overview

Join us for a special cultural workshop led by Tsawaysia Spukwus, a respected Squamish Nation educator and artist. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to weave a traditional wool headband, using simple techniques and soft, colourful yarn.

Tsawaysia will guide you through traditional techniques and the cultural teachings woven into each piece. You’ll leave with your own handcrafted wool headband, your own loom for future projects, and a deeper appreciation for the stories, values, and knowledge shared through Squamish weaving traditions.
