Welcome to Create After Dark a hands-on series for grown-ups who like their creativity with a twist. In this 2.5-hour guided session, you’ll craft your very own custom wooden spanking paddle while learning the basics of woodworking in a relaxed, social setting.
Whether you’re looking for a unique date night idea, a fun night out with friends, or you’re simply curious to try your hand at woodworking with a spicy twist, this class offers a safe, friendly space to explore your creativity. No prior experience required — just bring your curiosity and we’ll take care of the rest.
What you’ll learn
How to select and prepare wood for durability and a smooth finish
Safe operation of woodworking tools including drill press, bandsaw, jigsaw, table router, and more
Techniques for shaping, sanding, and finishing your paddle
How to create a functional, personalized spanking paddle to take home

Expert instruction and hands-on guidance
Your finished, fully functional wooden paddle
what to bring + Personal Safety
Closed-toe shoes are required
Avoid loose clothing and tie back long hair
Safety glasses, hearing protection, and dust masks are provided (bring your own if preferred)
